Attack Fell Terrier 864 Posted March 18, 2009 Report Share Posted March 18, 2009 The protein in Cheese and most other dairy products are released slowly, they're a casein protein source, and I'm not 100% sure whether dairy products are the best thing to feed a dog? Chicken is high in protein, and with the skin kept on has a decent amount of fat in it as well, plus the bones will give the dog a good source of calcium for healthy strong teeth and bones. Among other things, I feed my dogs Raw Chicken a lot and they do well on it. Don't ever cook your meats though, theres no need and the bones go brittle and can splinter which can cause problems, so stay away from cooking any meats especially cooking bones.
