I think putting a good bull cross bitch to a good bull cross dog is the way and trying to blend the best qualities for what you want. There is alot to be said for a really welll planned first cross choosing the best bull stud dog for lurcher breeding you can find and a big greyhound bitch 30" or more to the shoulder that has the desire to take a fox herself to produce the right shape of dog with the right qualities to carry on to the next genaration.
