had my ferret 3 year and in that time they have never had rabbit or any game food only dry food from pet shop my dad had 40 ferrets and always fed them bred and milk. my ferrets have turned out fo be as good as any ones when they kill in the hole i find they come out within min.

so all i want to sy is they dont need to be fed what they hunt its in them any way

I would have thought the clue was in the fact it sayes '' complete ferret food'' on the bag  , each to there own , mine dont get dry food here as i found it made them eat none stop & they got very fat , thats basically the only reason i stopped feeding it

I've only fed mine dry in the warmer months a small bowl not as a staple but as a overnight snack & i noticed the weight gain & 1 of the jills seemed only to be intrested in the dry  ..perhaps it's the Mc Donalds off the ferret world :hmm: chemical enhanced & very addictive???

I've still got half a bag of Chudleys from last spring & once it's gone i don't think i'll bother getting another....never fed them on dry before until then.Their on DOC till May,with a small portion of dry a few nights a week & they'll be back on rabbit & any other legal airgun quarry i can bag.

I would love to feed my ferrets on dry all the time, but I'm to tight to buy any, rabbits are free, and if my fezzers ask for dry they are still getting rabbit, unless another pheasant bounces off my windscreen. :D

i bet you use a tea bag twice
