Deker 3,453
Which copper solvent and oil would be the best to clean a cz .17 hmr ? There will be lots of answers here... Never been able to get on with the bore foam, especially in the small calibres, either sprays out the end of the barrel and pebbledashes the whole room or blows up on me at the breech end...so I stick with the solvents these days...Hoppes Benchrest 9 Copper Solvent is as good as any, seems to shift most things, then a bit of oil...but like I say the list will go on and everyone will have favourites. I doubt there is much difference between all the solvents and oils! Quote Link to post
