Interesting quote

Recommended Posts

“Owners of capital will stimulate the working class to buy more and more of expensive goods, houses and technology, pushing them to take more and more expensive credits, until their debt becomes unbearable.

The unpaid debt will lead to bankruptcy of banks, which will have to be nationalized, and the State will have to take the road which will eventually lead to communism.â€

Does this statement strike a chord with any of the more politically minded in view of current events?

Considering the number of "ex" communists and their left wing cronies in this labour government it seems like a deliberate policy is being followed rather than just incompetent bungling.

The above statement was made in 1867 by.................KARL MARX

Ive been reading stuff by Noam Chomsky and Naomi Kline, interesting stuff.

They basically try to expose the truth behind government policies in the U.S.A. but obviously american politics have affected the whole world lately.

They dont just come up with'conspiracy theories'. A lot of their findings are factual or fact based.

Its the type of stuff that i sometimes have to read a few times to get the understanding of,but its pretty alarming to read some of it.

The world is driven by powermongers and their greed for money and control of it.

The labour front bench with the exception of Prescot are all ex public school boys you couldn't get any further away from Marxism or Communism....This is Capitalism at it's worst. Anyone who thinks the Tory's are the answer are deluding themselves. The Tory's presided over the last recession with over 3 million unemployed and countless repossessions of peoples homes....Wasn't it Thatcher that done away with benefits for school leavers? these folk were not counted in the unemployment figures so it was probably much higher than 3 million. Politicians are are only interested in themselves and the gravy train that is paid for by Joe Public.:angry: This is a case of this country reeping what it sowed by putting up with this shite over the last 30yrs or so. You can bet theres someone somewhere making a killing with this credit crunch and banks collapsing.

Karl Marx nailed it in that one Bolio :notworthy:. this Government has conned us for years from when Blair was in power and brown was chancellor, the only difference is the pillock who was once the chancellor selling us down the swany river is now Prime Minister :icon_eek:.

Some people seem to forget what a mess his Government has made of this country, I read quote in one of the papers that Mr Brown "will get us out of the mess", FFS when will they come to their senses and realise it was them who got us into it in the first place ....

Its not just the fact they have taken us all into recession! its the way they came in and changed Laws and passed others through parlerment virtually every week without a challenge? since they have been in power they have taken away all are god given rights and freedom of speech with one law or another, everywhere you go there's a f*****g CCTV camera watching our every move! by all accounts we have more CCTV camera's than any other country in Europe!!! what a f*****g laugh hey! this isn't the UK anymore its turning into the old Commy russian regime....

there's talk about a summer of discontent in this country with demo's and probably a few riots! by all accounts they plan on drafting in the army for back up, lets hope after its all died down the Goverment will stand up and listen but somehow I doubt it..........

This government has past somthing like 3000 new pieces of legislation since it came to power and peoples civil rights are slowly being eroded from under their noses.

A film comes to mind ...... anyone remember the one I am on about. 1985 by O.W. it is happening right now. As things are I will have to go to the UK and look for a job as field service engineer again and travel round the globe from one site to another, as there is no work at all over here and it does not look like it is going to pick up in the near future, so I am living on my savings at the moment and will do that in the UK as well when I go there. After 27 of years having left the UK I am now back to square one thanks to global politics. I am thinking of working in my ex line of work and then go to some third world place to settle and wait till 2012.

It boils my piss that some folk think that having the Tories will right all wrongs. I still remember what things were like for the average man in the street, last time they were in.

The Tories also came up with the 'right to buy' scheme for council tenants. Whilst a good thing in theory, they made no provision for replacing the sold ones.

They're stated aim was that it meant that everybody would have the chance to be a home owner, but in reality it aimed to turn us into a nation of landlords & tenants.

What we've got now, especially in my area, is a chronic lack of affordable housing. Ex council houses round here go for the best part of £200,000.

The average wage here in Pembrokeshire is around £13,000 a year, so locals have a hell of a job buying a house, and the housing stock is so small here now, that it's not unusual to have a family of 4-5 cramped into a small 2 bedroom flat, originally designed to accommodate two adults & one child.
