jaegervulpes 0
Nice pics mate Are you finding training easy? My old hancocks dog was very biddable Cheers pal, training him has not always been that easy, also due to my inexperience when I first got him I am having to play catch up with a few disciplines like the retrieve. I tell you what though the biggest help was reading Brian Plummer's The New Complete Lurcher book, where advice from people failed I have usually found an answer that works in the book. Like you say yours was, he is very biddable with most tasks its just tuning into what makes him want to do it, which sometimes is easier said than done! Quote Link to post

jaegervulpes 0
The dog looks like its getting the hang of it mate He certainly is, his collie mind thrives on training I've found and so becomes so much more obedient with it. Go figure I suppose! Quote Link to post

Usually this means sniffing where other dogs have been or picking a fight with another dog that he deems lesser than himself just to show me up! Quote Link to post

I don't know what you mean, jealous of Parker, do I know you? haha, it did spur me on to knuckle down. That is frustrating about Tyla, understatement for you I guess, I would be well 'expletived' off! Quote Link to post

Shes hardly been out at all this season as shes been so unlucky She hates training, she seems to learn by doing, she will hardly even look at a dummy but was starting to retrieve rabbits before she got hurt. Once she can go out a little bit i will try your method from the book, if it works as well for her as it did for Boz i will be stoked! Fingers crossed Quote Link to post
