Where can we go??

Recommended Posts

you can go werever you like just dont get cought
this is what this site has to offer ,advice to novices from novices that think they know all the correct answers .

Jessy - I don't wish to get into any slanging matches here but I would like to point out that having read a few of your posts you seem to like stirring things up. I AM a novice and don't wish to become an expert in anything. I am more than happy to take advice from anyone offering it and to use my own intelligence to interpret it how I see fit. An 'off-the-cuff' remark about not getting caught made me smile, NOT want to go out in army combats and twigs in my hair! Not everything in black and white IS black and white.

On the note of novices I'd like to quote one of your previous posts..........sounds to me {and i dont know any thing } like a case of some thing different ,we cant have that so lets get rid of it incase it changes the way we have always done things .a typical british reaction.

You'll notice how I highlighted a particular section?

One more quote (as I'm feeling generous) from your posts.........if you dont have a decent answer then ,please dont make any more stupid remarks ,thanks.

Can I offer you two words? PRACTICE.......PREACH

Surely this would be a nicer place to be without unnecessary comments meant only to annoy?

Jessie quoted riohog so I would assume the reply was aimed at riohog not you lola, :hmm: so I think you're having a dig at the wrong person. :icon_redface:

You're choice of word [slaughter] leaves a lot to be desired and yes it does sound like it's came out of an antis mouth. But you've used it now and apologised so we'll move on. As has already been said, before you get any notion of running your dogs loose on someones ground you really should make sure that they are 100% stockproof and also that their recall is spot on, if not they will be an accident waiting to happen.

i could be wrong but i think an anti comin on here would be more on the ball, i mean i think they would know what words not to use, just my opinion but i think this is genuine...probably just shot meself in the foot now

Your right, promise I'm not an anti. I'm just a woman with a GSD and a Lurcher and I came on here just to try and find out where I can let my lurcher be a lurcher. It took me until the comment about 'something fishy' or words to that affect to even realise where this thread was going.

You'll see me post on here more often now for advice as Casper is my first Lurcher. I want to know things like where I can take him for lurcher shows and the like.

BTW - Lola is my shepherds name, my name is Ashley so hello to you all.

Your foot should still be intact :)

Work on your basic obedience and stock breaking before contemplating hunting with your dogs. Once you can demonstrate your dogs are safe in the countryside and not a threat to livestock or likely to bog off when the lead is removed you will have a better chance of gaining permission.
