lurchergrrl 1,441
Hard to say, I really like them both. "Tonight, Luca Brazzi sleeps with the fishes" Excellent films, definately in my favorite top 10.
Grim Reaper 1
For me, it has to be GF II - for the story value, as well as the acting - both menacing, i think. GF I was good in it's own right as well, but the rest of the story comes together in GF II - with the history of the main characters that appear in GF I having their histories set out, which then leads you in to where GF I starts off. Regards, Grim.

ade33uk 86
Its got to be number 1, but the best way to watch is the trilogy that Coppola made in the 80s for American tv , its only available on vhs dont know why theres no dvd .It starts with Vitos brother getting killed in Sicily and him arriving in America and then goes through the whole story in chronological order with added scenes , finishing with Fredos death . its much better this way without the flash backs . and it doesnt go anywhere near the steaming pile that is Godfather 3 . Malt 379
Tough one. I hadn't seen the films up until about 3 years ago. I watched the first one and loved it. I then sat down about a week later & watched part 2 and was equally impressed.
