maty j 6
You and buffalo Plenty of power In the rifle but 3 shots and all that pissing about to load It. No thanks. The boar vid Isn't bad either, Drops well Quote Link to post
Guest air gunner
Thats a big piece of crap! all that faffing around and by the looks of it mental recoil may as well get a rimfire! not for me 3 shots per fill and probably massive drop on the second shot 100fps loss! Quote Link to post
maty j 6
Same power on the second shot Airgunner. i only watched up to that part as he was only shooting targets. I think you'd need a centre fire too rather than a rimmy to out do that for power allthough the range Is probably nothing special. I can see the attraction but for 3 shots I'd wonder If It's worth It. Quote Link to post
chimp 299
a rimmy wont drop a wild boar ( body shot) where that will , i just like seeing what people can push out of there guns and 720 ft lb is pretty good Quote Link to post
aaronpigeonplucker 32
imagine that gun. now imagine woodpigeon hunting. now put the two together.......... Quote Link to post

chimp 299
was it loud chris? Quote Link to post
Guest air gunner
Ok i will be inpressed when they produce a 720fps air rifle with more than 3 shots per fill and also has a magazine. I only watched the target one doesent make a difference to me if it can drop a wild boar i couldent even kill one with a centre fire. (i live in england) What fps do rim fires have as a general rule? also if you shot a pigeon with that it would be like shooting one point blank with a 12bore. bang wheres e gone. what does it envolve getting an FAC licence for use with air guns this cal and power in england how much age limit etc? Quote Link to post
maty j 6
720 FPS Is easy to get more than 3 shots 720 ft.lb on the other hand... A rimmy with .22 shorts will give you about 76 ft.lb muzzle velocity. No where near 700 lol. .22 hornet about 720 ft.lb but It's only a .22 still so body shots will be useless. Quote Link to post
stealthy1 3,964
How expensive is a tin of pellets for this gun. Quote Link to post
Guest air gunner
Oh [bANNED TEXT] im mixed up fps and ft-lb Quote Link to post
ChrisJones 7,975
was it loud chris? Very. Silencer helped but it was still loud. Ok i will be inpressed when they produce a 720fps air rifle with more than 3 shots per fill and also has a magazine. I think air rifle tuning isn't about practicality it's about eccentricity. Especially in the UK. My Rapid is a great piece of engineering but because it does 60ft/lbs people say 'Why didn't you buy a rimfire.' Because I wanted an air rifle that I could put on FAC. If I want a rimfire I'll buy one! The thing with Korean air rifles is that they're made in a market where rimfires and centerfires can't be legally held. So they do the best they can with the practical tools available. It's not reinventing the wheel it's finding loopholes in their laws. As for shots so what? How many do you need? Alot of the yank hunters are using single shot muzzleloaders and single shot slug guns. Granted they're not for small game but I guess it's what's you want from a rifle. Quote Link to post
