undisputed 1,664
Frost is back here for a few days so no night time activities for the dogs. Had a walk along a local wood thats usually awash with Roe but never saw a bloody thing which is typical. Dog marked a few holes but no ferret with me so they'll keep for another day. Came across this pipe which was in cover were we normally flush rabbits for the dogs. I hate these things as one of my dogs had an nasty accident taking her front leg and shoulder off chasing a hare a few years ago. Imagine a dog hitting this at full speed there should be some sort of cover round them. Anyway let the dogs criss cross the burn to check the other side for bunnys but no-one was playing today. On the way back got a solid mark on charlie in a one hole den. The stench from the hole was strong and he's probably holed up to keep out of the frost.
