dogs allowed on busses

It used to be if the dog can sit on your lap you don't pay but if not you pay a child fare.Cost me a fortune as a teenager to get out into the wilds of Co.Durham with my lurcher & lab cross :laugh: 60 pence return those were the days :icon_redface:

it cost £1 per dog georgia for round here and my dogs get a seat aswell as im paying for them.i dont understand why we have to pay for them to go on the bus but not for the train.i will be catching the bus within the next hour with fly.

Quick tip for those of you who might want to use the train.. Always get in the carriage allocated for wheelchair users. If no wheelchair users are aboard you can sit in a seat with bags of room for the dog to lay down and if the seats becomes needed theres still more room by the other seats Plus theres usually a loo in that carriage too lol
