Guest jrt Posted January 6, 2009 Report Share Posted January 6, 2009 Well i went down to my permission today, leFt the dogs in mine just went up to get me bouderies marked out and me permission slips signed, the farmer seems like an easy goin fella, not to sure how many acres ive got but its fwacken massive! he showed me a place were his chickens where tha is invested with tha little b*****ds, had alook and there where alot of holes so its lookin promising. Now then lads, whats the best gloves to get for ratting? will them rubber ones do that the binmen used wear? anyone got any tips for me? would be very grateful! Quote Link to post

gnipper 6,898 Posted January 6, 2009 Report Share Posted January 6, 2009 Rubber gloves will do mate but best bet is just to not feck about touching them, obviously you have to touch the dogs at some point but theres no need to touch a rat. Most of the time your hands are on a spade. Is there any rabbits on there too and do you need a hand with owt? My pups teeth are changing now so i'm gonna get him on the rats soon. As the lads have said any work type or even the decent gardening type will be sound. You're in for a good laugh and some proper fun I reckon.
