after years of working dogs and ferrets and listning to the dribble on here i maybe start ,takeing inexpierence guys and gals out and educate them like no silly book can or dvd ,are there a market for that type of course ,ive had countless people out educated countless and learned a few tricks along the way ,i have the land the dogs the means to do it ,i think its about time people paid for an educaition on hunting they do it in america and other states we are the only country were there few and far between who actualy spend time with young and old people on how to do it properly , and how to learn things with expeirenced hunters who have done it on the big stage for money etc how to learn dog work ,makeing nets ,ferret boxes ,how to no were and how to ferret properly look for signs ,do you think there a market for it

jesus not ferreting courses? I thought i,d heard it all when i saw people paying to shoot pigeons, what next? commercialisation is the ruination of our sport, I,m all for someone with a business plan to make a few quid, but when it comes to outdoor recreation thats all it should be, recreation, why not give your advise free like most on here or is your dribble worth money? not personal, just my opinion

why should you give hard earned advice free ,i keep thta for close freinds and family, its not just about ferreting dogs nets feild sports in general , people nowadays dont get the chance to go out with knowldgble guys etc , so why not as there more than just abit money ,its al about learning, when i was an app carpenter done 4 yrs at app wages so you have to pay a bit to gain a bit and its all legal , i go over to usa i have to pay fares spend have fun so it helps there ecoonomy over in the western states ,im not bending any ones arms but it would put a lot of squit to rest and they would come back more knowlegble

the danger of turning your passion/hobby into a paying occupation is that you will probably turn into a self opinionated, egotistical, pig ignorant, blithering tw@t who talks bollox writes bollox and makes sh1t dvds like whithead/warrener/frein etc

Terrible attitude.

 

I fish at Chesil beach, West Bay and Lyme in the summer, inevitably there's always lots of holiday makers. I get no greater pleasure than giving them (a large majority of first timers) my knowledge and helping them out with tying knots, casting, baiting up and even gutting and filleting their fish for them. To see the smile on a father and sons face when they've caught their first fish together is worth more than anything anyone's got in their wallet. Why has everything got to be turned into a money-making venture these days?

notrealy as its fun not into massive mainstream like warrener and a few others ,i no a knocker a freind of d slieghts , no eejit mate , not realy a money makeing venture i still take close freinds out who return the favour , but the way i look at it i go to boxing club gym , pool hall i pay for it so no big deal to help your hobbies pay for you i played pool at a high level and one a few quid and had laughs and trouble i work for a living do a good job and get paid ,so dont seethe problem as its not my full time occupaition ,plus dont want to push it but with all the shite you read on internets alot need an educaition on hunting , so thtas why i think it needs done

renyard are you a kid as there nothing better than getting paid for your hobbies and passions , used to play pool in tournaments one money had laughs, fished as a youngster then when the money was there bought boats and do a bit of potting netting takeing people fishing for cash and free if there freinds , get a grip mate ,if you can make a bit of your hobbies see happy people you cant do better than that in my eyes, now i couldnt do what warrener could well could do it, or simon whithead but not my thing , for a start wouldnt like to go round shows all summer , as the fishing seasons on would like to do a few but weekin week out nope, would sicken me i like the quite mornings away fishing pulling traps seeing the sun rise with your boat, free as a bird , your passing the nest end , the hurkers your, yor comeing out the dock .freedom , got tee shirt on suns up yor catching lobsters with your knowledge of land marks rock formaition ,it takes years time and money to learn so its good to get a return , at your hobbies mate, think clearly and never think everything is money all the time, ive helped more than ill ever recieve

ye i do son, you get up early in the summer daylites breaking you hit the peir , engines going , you slacken the ropes ,your away you get your lobster markers, suns coming up ,you hit the pots clean them bait then band your catch as old s the sea , catching lobsters , salts in your face and the suns up great fun

The only problem I see mate is insurance. If your offering any activity you need indemnity insurance in case summit goes wrong when these folk are in your care if you know what I mean. Keeps you right and stops any bad blood if any damage is caused or accidents happen, and stops you being sued for everything you own....lol.....forget the knockers mate there's always folk who want something for nothing.....simple really if you dont wanna try you dont have to buy good luck with it if you go ahead.

ye i no what your saying undisputed , and ye you get eejits saying this and that but thye dont need to go , i went to the boxing as ayoungster paid my due every week ,played pool in glasgow to get in the scottish team piad my way if every body pays something wether money barter ,then you go out your way more to make sure they enjoy as some abuse things for fech all , pheasants you pay for to shoot ,now these people are not clever on here as i see the posts, you seem a knowledgble guy and you no when you see one, so thats good , see if we all paid into the goverment years ago like the yanks ie rabbit licence game licence it would have never got banned , so why not pay a little to learn feildsports i wouldnt charge family freinds etc ,but well i get asked by allsorts so you have to make it pay for your time at times , expierence costs money and time no matter what you do ,as i say family and freinds you look after cheers
