Kay 3,709
Use the guilotine type , you will get some from a decent pet shop Quote Link to post
droid 11
The malt paste reccommended by stubby is good stuff for distracting, but if you can't get hold of it use a squirt of olive oil on her belly. That's what i use. Keeps 'em occupied while you clip. I'm just down the road in Tam, so if I can help gizza PM mate. Quote Link to post

Brimmer 220
Anyone really struggling to clip the nails down, then stick the ferret under an upturned bucket on a concrete flag, with its food just outside the bucket. (oh and stick a brick on the top of the bucket!) Give em 5 mins they should be worn down. (maybee not in the case of the nails folding under the paws though, best get someone good with the clippers to sort those to start with!) Quote Link to post

The one 8,588
If your holding her correctly she will feel relaxed and enjoy it but if she's trying to latch on to anything in range well some ferrets are like that and are never really safe after a fortnight /month i know what i'd to and at least you tried Quote Link to post
