i shoot feral pidgeons regularly on a farm and i have wondered about lamping them at night because Andy Richardson does this the "Sporting air rifle"dvd and it proves very effective...but...on a thread on here someone said that lamping pidgeons is illegel. Is this true?because if it is i wont do it. ;)

thanks

is it true with shooting any birds including vermin if police come and check you HAVE to say you have tried other means of getting rid of them such as scare crows and stuff like that.

bit of a grey area!

i think you have to be able to say/prove that you have tried with in reason to move the birds on by none lethal means and that you need to prove you are controling them for reasons of public health, prevention of desease, damage to live stock, crops/feed, buildings ect!

cheers

that's the same as when the filth ask you to "come quietly", so just tell them you've asked them nicely, they took no notice, so you then shot the crap out of em.

Which is basically the same as they do in their job in a nutshell :drink:
