whin 463
lamping hares can be easy at times like any sport ,but i haqve been to places ive had more sucses with my dogs in daylite, than lamping ,hares run out of beam hilly ,i live in open land so you can lose them ,daylites the best crack but if the hares are not showing can be a wasted walk in some areas ,do what you like with your own dog ,i rate adog if it can catch winter hares on wheat not stubble or long rape only way mate ,but if you want more sport at certain times of nites lamp i saw thirty hares last nite on lamp but will look tomorow if there there , do what you prefer but only take what you need its like killing hares after the corns cut no big deal but doesnt mean you have a good dog , Quote Link to post
