BRYAN3 29
whats the best for around the 500 mark im looking new not seconed hand thank guys Hi. Mine is the Ruger stainlees allweather £a little over 500. I paid extra £45 for trigger tuning " £65 for threading and proofing. It is fitted with the SAC modderator which makes the whole thing a bit long. I think in hindsight i should have had the barrel shortened to 21 inch before threading. There are lots to choose from. Guest w.m.avian
I HAD THE BARRLE SHORTEND ON THE 22 AS IT WOULD OF BEEN TOO LONG FOR ME GETTING IT OUT OF THE WINDOW Quote Link to post
weejohn 3
i would go for an anchutz for an extra £50 , have a look on guntrader, there is LOADS of alternative guns. Edited December 27, 2008 by weejohn Quote Link to post
SportingShooter 0
When you say the Fireballs aren't over here yet, I'm assuming you mean the .17 Fireball from Remington? In which case it's a centrefire and primarily a fox cartridge. A very expensive way to shoot Rabbits Quote Link to post

hotel2zero 0
CZ452 varmint .17hmr. I'm new to shooting, got a cz452 for £280 and brought scope, sling, etc. must say that for £280 i diddn't expect what i got.. spot on out to 200yds, easy to clean, easy to use, easy and cheap to upgrade trigger, shame the ammo is sooooo much!! However i understand the saying, get what you pay for, but for this money - i can't go wrong... Sako quad has big advantages, i seriously looked into it - so should you Good luck. Quote Link to post
