Had my parrot for 5 years and never any sign of feather plucking.Yesterday we started plucking the turkeys and chickens I come in and couldn't believe my eyes :blink: Look what the dozy fker did :oops: . A friend said he saw a cat outside when he come on the wall and the parrot could have seen it :icon_eek: But cant see this being a problem as we already have a cat .He has loads of toys and gets plenty fruit .Any idea's please

I think you be better off with a brace not much to each one :whistling:

 

 

Are you sure there's not something irritating his skin? A mite in his feathers or something?

SS thought you would have a bit more sympathy. :thumbdown: Cant see anything at all . you trying to say i have a flee bitten bird :icon_eek:

hes board simple as that leave the radio on near him i had a Norwegian blue that did that but hes deceased :whistling:

Yes it could be stereotypic behaviour caused by lack of enrichment but also a shock or stress could have caused it, as could an underlying health problem. :thumbs:

Wonder why he hasn't done it before funny hes only just started now .Hasn't done it at all today
