The only other thing is to read up and gather all the information on ferrets you can and in early summer show your mother some ferret kitts if they dont melt her heart nothing will

hi mate nice to see you want ferrets let me tell you some thing about them

my father wa a big ferret man he kept 12 ferrets all for working only. i been going ferreting for 30 years but never had my own as to say.

 

3 years ago my mate phoned me up to ask can i come and ( dont no if i can say this ) putt it out of its misary as to say as it was 6 months old and he could not feed it it would hiss and bite like hell

i went there and she was the most beatyfull ferret i have ever seen went home got my welding gloves on went back and after 10 min got her in the box took her home to the wife she went mad haha within an hour she had the ferret in the house with the dog playing. she has turned out to be the best working and pet i have ever had its getting to the stage where my misses want let me take here out lol. she has had 2 litters of kits and when she was having them i was with here looking evern touching them not many will let you do that.

now i dont evern see them the misses does all the work i get home and they are in the house.

all im saying is give them love and time and you get the bast out of them i would not sell her for £5000 and i mean that
