Guest buster321c
Monday night i lost me mobile , had the same number for about 10 years and an address book full of contacts and work stuff . Its one of these all singing all dancing , does everything ,with windows operating system on it . Anyway , im convinced its in the house ( god knows where , but somewhere ) and after admitting defeat , i rang orange to say ide lost it . The woman said i dont have insurance on the handset and she would block the phone and handset . I asked what the last number dialed from it was ( its my home number ) and when ( about 5pm Monday) so i still dont think its been used , but shes going to let me know in the next 24 hours if the handset has been used since . Now i still have about 12months left on my contract , which i dont mind , but i was told i have one of three options open to me - 1 - pay £70 and have the handset replaced 2 - pay £60 and have the handset replaced with an extra £6 on my monthly bill 3 - pay £17-50 and have a new sim card sent out to me Well to be honest , its my fault its lost , and i wont do anything about a new hand set as there`s gotta be at least 4 around the house , but £17-50 for a sim card !!!! to my mind thats a complete piss take , i can get a pay as you go one for nothing off them , so why cant they replace mine ???? What a complete rip off !!!!

Doglost Co-Ordinator 4
Orange have always been crap, my fella told em where to stick it a few years ago. Been with O2 20 yrs & never had a problem. My last upgrade went wonky 3 times told them I wasnt having another of that model & what i wanted. It wasnt on their options list but I still got it FOC. You can get sims PAYG for £1 with £1 credit on them.
