looking for a new type of ferret finder

i have a deburn mk3 finder and its crap i have tryed to use it never gives the right dept is there any other system out there

get some practice in,theyre a brilliant job.ive dug ferrets and terriers with them.as accurate as any other finder,just lacks the extra distance of the B&F....or you could send it up to me

I've got the new MK3M and I like it, when I first got it I had my doubts, then after a hour I got the jist, now it picks up down to 6 inches no problem, just wish it had a volume control fitted so I didn't have to keep my thumb on the speaker.

Tapes ok, but on some of the land I ferret, is borderd by busy roads, so its a case of, traffic coming past thumb off, traffic gone thumb on, I've got shovels for hands so its not a problem, its just that for that kind of money you'd expect a volume control, bet the MK4 has one.

if your having real trouble with it, either ebay it or try and swap it for an MK1, some people get on with these better as they arent as complex
