mattydski 560
Strange question?? A ferret is an attacker, it uses its teeth and claws and bite strength to kill other animals. It has a different ethos. A squirrell generally doesnt kill other animals, it is however an omnivore, not a carnivore..It defends, rather than attacks. My money, for what it is worth, is on the ferret. It is unlikely they would come face to face, unless the ferret attacked a mother on a drey.. Quote Link to post
ferret boy charlie 0
if a ferret can take a brown rat why not a tree rat ? Quote Link to post
Kay 3,709
There were a few pics posted up here a while ago of a ferret being used to hunt squirells , well a ferret in a tree stump anyway, squirells are to quick to catch with a ferret i would say , the ones my dog chases are anyway Quote Link to post
Malt 379
Ferret hands down. If a ferret can kill something the size of a rabbit with ease, a squirrel wouldn't stand much of a chance.... Quote Link to post
The one 8,577
I like everybody else so far have voted for the ferret. Quote Link to post
Guest jbswildlife
a squirrel will stay well clear of a ferret. had a squirrel in an attic once, used the ferret to bolt him it took only seconds. Quote Link to post
thepriest 0
I said ferret, Obviously as long as the squrrel wasnt from willy wonkas factory Quote Link to post
biffo 0
fert'll win hands down Quote Link to post
njc110381 0
I'd say the ferret, easily! The squirrel may have teeth and be about the same size, but unlike the squirrel a ferret is a natural killer and would make the first bite count Quote Link to post
mad al 146
ferret every time, attack is the best form of defence the tree rat would be more concerned about it's nuts..............end of Quote Link to post
