Ian292 0
How good is the signal when you check it in the house? I would presume you've put new batteries in it. I've found that weak batteries can give a poor signal when underground. Regards, Ian. Quote Link to post
kx100 66
in the hose it is spot on the batterys are new Quote Link to post
stubby 175
Id still suggest trying another set of new batteries, before you look at sending it to deben, reason being, had new sealed batteries ready for ferreting today, always check with the battery tester before putting them in the collars, and 3 out of 8 were dead as a dodo, as your stating fine in the house, but not underground, that to me says batteries, both collar and finder Quote Link to post
taff3915 2
is it definatly picking up the collar in the house ? i ask as the unit picks up light swithes and sockets in the house. Quote Link to post
knocker 0
as the unit picks up light swithes and sockets in the house if a mk3 picks up any electrical activity at all then i suggest sending it back to deben, the mk3 runs on a frequency a million miles from any electrical apperatus in houses/fields/barns etc make sure you are using silver oxide batteries in the collars and not alkaline Quote Link to post
