out last night

hello guys as you all will probably no i have just got a permission on a lacal fishery witch has been the highlight of the year so far lol

 

well i got the idea to go out and do a bit last night. set out at 9:00pm for a five minute walk down the road and got to the pond with a pocket full of sweetcorn for the rats lol put some down on a few pegs and sat back waiting but nothing was happening. so me and my mate decided to take a little walk round the pond to see if we could spot anything on the island.

put the lamp on it and it was dead then my mate spotted one sat there about 25/30 yards away so i rested on his sholder and pop it roled down a little mud mound and that was it lights out that was me happy but after that nothing happened so we headed home.

 

sorry no pik as we couldnt get to it because it was over water lol

 

try and get some next time we go. going to ask the bailiff can we lend a little boat or something ust incase we run into this problem again lol

How I attract rats out from hiding is to get a tin of cheap catfood, peirce holes in the tin and place the tin where you think you will get best results, and then wait until they show up, the advantage is that they can't carry the bait of.
