help needed pigeon job

how about putting some food dwn on the ground for them then you can pick them off without having to worry to much!
isnt that baiting ..also illegal..what planet are some people on ..good job the antis or rspb dont look through this site..or do they..

 

im sure rspb an such are checkin forums an maybe even signed on them... alot of car forums had police checkin them to stop the racing that was happening.. every forum will be checked..

 

so to anyone that doesnt no the law should really check before posting about stuff.. site could be closed or anythink due to mistakes like that :( ...

yes i agree mate people should think before they type.

 

i was asked by the farmer to get rid of his pigeon problem.So this is pest control.

 

for fun i shoot at cans and targets not a live animals i love and respect all wildlife.

feral pigeons can be be shot by you or anyone with permission by the landowner technically you have to be licensed by defra but the license allows anyone with the permission of the landowner to control this species you can get a copy from defra but you will propably never need one or be asked to produce one, back to minimising damage to the roof ideally use an air rifle that you can turn down the power to your range or angle your shots to a safe backshot ie girders (rsgs) and use wadcutter pellets (flatheads)

I get around the problem of perforating roofs with pellets by using my King Ratcatcher:

All feral pigeons in this picture were shot cleanly from there perches in the beam of a lamp, with no collateral damage, the rabbits were taken with the .22 RF on the way home, horses for courses. :thumbs:
