cameraman 1
feral pigeons can be be shot by you or anyone with permission by the landowner technically you have to be licensed by defra but the license allows anyone with the permission of the landowner to control this species you can get a copy from defra but you will propably never need one or be asked to produce one, back to minimising damage to the roof ideally use an air rifle that you can turn down the power to your range or angle your shots to a safe backshot ie girders (rsgs) and use wadcutter pellets (flatheads) Quote Link to post

The one 8,581
Okay its the airgun forum ,but if the farmers worried about you popping holes in the roof why no bait up a letterbox trap like for crows?? Quote Link to post
Malt 379
I get around the problem of perforating roofs with pellets by using my King Ratcatcher: All feral pigeons in this picture were shot cleanly from there perches in the beam of a lamp, with no collateral damage, the rabbits were taken with the .22 RF on the way home, horses for courses.
