Good idea mate , i like to cut up a potatoe into cubes about 10 mm square an throw em on the grass , then pick em off from the bedroom window , About 25 - 30 yds :thumbs: Instead of the same distance shot , you can get a varied distances if you throw the bits around :thumbs:

the cheapest extra strong mints you can find, theyre about 24-25 mm (1 inch), really good practace after you practacd ranging on a tape measure, put a load out at random and see where you miss.. work on that distance till you hit then put some mre out and try again.......

 

theyre cheaper than the chalkie discs but blow up the same.

I used to use Polos ..the bad shots broke them!!! :whistling::yes::whistling::thumbs:

Aye Deker, I've been there mate with the polo's. :11:

 

I also found a good thing with the polo mints were that when you get fed up of trying to break them with a pellet, you can really set your personal standard that bit higher and try to get the pellet through the center hole without breaking the polo itself - hard i agree, but 'do' able all the same. . . . :thumbs:

smaller spoons...12 inch rules? hmmmmm.... notcutting mine in half for any one! innit! :rofl:

 

and yes the polo's, me and the freinds were going through the middle, screwed us right up trying to gues the wind.. oh well.. hehehehe..
