auld salmon 28
Decided to go out with the young punks this morning as was dry. Got nets sorted out and ferret finders so off I went with 2 of the stinkers. First set done witht he poley - nowt, then albino had a go nowt. Then nice wee 5 holed set put the poley down - bang - a rabbit. Then straight away another one, lost the second one she come straight back out, give the albino a go on the next one - nowt. Then a few sets with nowt in them. Nice little 2 holed set under a tree, put the albino down - bang a big rabbit, then another wee one half to 3/4 grown. Done a few more sets nowt in them, then was the poley's turn - 3 holer put her down one - nowt, put her down another hole and a rabbit sneaked under the net through the grass. Heavens opened so decided to call it a day, was well pleased with the pair of them both come out no bother , hope their sisters do as well. Still a bit of cover on the ground, no long until the rod fishing finishes then will get out with my old pal dirty del. Edited October 26, 2008 by auld salmon Quote Link to post
stubby 175
sounds a good day, Im presuming only one collar was the reason to give them turns, rather than putting them both down at once Quote Link to post
