Solid animals, not too big as rabbits is our game, but have to be able to go all day. These are 18 months old, just finding there wings, and fast! Quote Link to post

Dave. 41 today, no big numbers as it's just a training day, (Young ferrets and dogs) out again tommorow for the same, more ferrets, but the same dogs need the work! Young un's did the work, caught 75%, rest old un (grey) and ferrets. Steady day for us, getting to the age of 35 myself, carrying loads has lost it's appeal, we should be hitting 30 - 50's a day till feb, then they just seem to be breeding earlier and earlier, so knock off as soon as we find them paired up. LOL Brimmer, if that is you in the picture, there is no way you are 35..... Your dogs must be shit hot, to be be taking that many at that age of limestone ground... I take big bags of rabbit from the same area, but i must admit most are taken by ferreting......?? Quote Link to post

They go as far back as the normans. This will in turn expain to you what a lurcher is. Unless you meant, you think the only "good" lurcher is a colliex. In which, i would have to agree as i have collie greyhound but i also have bullx's, and saluki crosses, all do different work.... Which young lads are you refareing to border. As most on here know what they are talking on, and have some lovely dogs..... p.s, you forgot to add abit of beddlington in your colliex for the extra fire a terrier gives,,,, Quote Link to post
