Basically all the more sly mostly forgotten methods, not the general snares, moonligh ferreting ect.. just things that have been told down generations and so on. Malt 379
Id say the the best methods are pretty much the same methods you'd use on permission. If all these 'poaching methods' were as good as some say they are, why aren't they used on permissions up and down the country? Some of these supposed methods were just invented by authors wanting to make good reading half the time, the hunters version of old Wife's tales IMO.

mackem 29,191
Worst ones had to be the addle-brained idiot stories of burning-sulphur for pheasants, crabs&Tortoises for ferreting etc, dumb tales yet still they are perpetuated
will.f11 24
we got chased the other night. we just stash the bunnies as we go. makes it easier to go back for. we just used ferrets and 2 very good dogs
