No1ShottySid 0
Me and a couple of mates off this site went ratting yesterday with the ferrets and a couple of terriers. Not a bad day until the last big earth in an old barn, the ferret had killed in an gone to sleep. We waited about 2 hours but by that time it was dark so we left the ferret box open next to the hole i last seen her with a rabbit in it that the dogs had caught. i left my number with the farmer and asked him to keep his eye out . Just had a phone call and the ferret is sleeping in the ferret box . very happy. this is obviously a good method if any of you have the same problem. Quote Link to post

neil cooney 10,416
Never had to do it yet (touch wood) and always thought it a bit of an ol' wives tale. But there you go, you live and learn. Quote Link to post
