Guest hyperion
so it was all sorted, two polecat jills from working stock to be picked up tonight!, or so i thought! it was all aranged through a friend of a friend who i was told keeps ferrets and had some kitts going, id been given his number and had spoken to the bloke and was told good working ferrets handled daily ect, i phoned him yesterday to check we were all good and arange to pick them up after work today, any way four oclock rolls around and i made the phone call "sorry mate i forgot them and left them at the farm ill get them next friday for you" then tonight ive been chatting to a mate of mine who knows this bloke and it turns out the farm is a high volume pet production line where they breed ferrets, ginniue pigs, rabbits ect for pet shops! just phoned him back and told him to stick his ferrets where the sun dont shine! not saying that they wouldnt have been any good but.............. live and learn i guess! cheers hyperion Quote Link to post
Coatesy900 0
Well thats just stupid, now they will definitly go to a pet owner rather than someone who will actually work them. Not sure whether you meant you didnt take them because they were from pet suppliers, or because you had to wait another week, but either way it doesn't really matter does it? Quote Link to post
Guest hyperion
i didnt take them because it the second time he has messed me about with oh yeah sorry mate i forgot and because there comming from a pet supplier and i was lied to! im not in any rush to pick my weasels up but id rather i was told the truth from the outset! donnie im in east dorset mate, think that might be a bit to far! lol Quote Link to post

fireman 11,456
You two should meet up at old sarum and take some nets with you, grew up there and cut my ferreting teeth up on the moats, loads of rabbits or used to be.This time of year the hobs should be fine together,i have put all my ferrets back together and had no major probs.
