cometa300s 20 Posted September 10, 2008 Report Share Posted September 10, 2008 hello all i recently put a topic up and come up with the conclution to do a little baiting in the back yard. with advice from all use of course lol i was just wondering with me having ferrets in the back yard would the scent of him make the birds vacate from my property without taking any bait. my bait is bread,toast and any little bits and bobs witch look appealing lol thanks for the help guys liam Quote Link to post

Malt 379 Posted September 10, 2008 Report Share Posted September 10, 2008 It's what my old man always used to say, and I've found that it's the case. There used to be quite a few rats frequenting my garden before I got my ferrets. I put some ferret shit in the runs where they were coming under my fence, and in a little tunnel that they'd dug under my shed, and I've only had one since, and that was a 3/4 grown one that I found in my compost bin. I pulled him out by the tip of his tail, and my JRT done the rest! Quote Link to post
