I read and re-read your post Maty,rod?ROD?Ahhhhh(light-bulb moment)Rooddd ;) Its a back-up Maty,he is whipping the thingies on and fitting the reel-whatchamacallit as and when,no rush for that, its an ongoing project, just a spare,I am not expecting it to be as high-tech as my current rod :)

Yeah,good-ole boys and rednecks eat kermit  Its nice actually, certainly edible :D

Hot gigging-action :victory: We used to buy frogs in the market, the stall-owner would put them in a soft-mesh bag, smash them with the flat of a cleaver to stun them, and skin their spasming legs quickly, they really do taste nice :victory:

Temporary mental block hey  I wouldn't expect It to be as high tech either but If It works and Is cheaper then IMO It's a winner. I've never tried frog, I thought It was just the French that ate them, obviosly I was wrong. Doesn't really apeal to me much frog, not much meat on them... i'll stick to steak :drink:

Fish gills....Hmmmm :laugh: Theres some chicks down the garden that are growing well. I havn't a clue how to tell what's a a hen and what Is a cock so as soon as they start crowing I'll get them full of corn and then see what proper corn fed birds are like :drink: May even get some more eggs off them and have a few more for the table, who knows.

Was the starling any good then Chess?? :D
