kurgan 5 Posted August 30, 2008 Report Share Posted August 30, 2008 12 weeks after my amputation I finally got out ,bit of ferreting in some woods in Aldershot had to bike it down as I have to sell me car and get an automatic ,3 miles down the road my pedal snaps off so bugger it I walked the rest only couple of hundred yards, got to the woods forgot how great it is to be out on your own totaly silent nice breeze few rabbits running for cover ,first warren nice 10 hole and 2 in the bag tried a few more warrens but no luck ,I knew the wife would be having a heart attack if I wasn’t home soon so I had to botch my bike together bit of fence wire wrapped round my prosthetic to the crank on the bike and we are away ,got a lot of funny looks on the way home but nothing compared to my wife when I got back not impressed at all, f**k it wait till she finds out im going lamping to night Quote Link to post
