I think they did live in a hollow-tree Excellent program,I always remember the tune,found myself whistling it earlier and just did a web-search finding the opening clip,great show Not PC nowadays I guess?

Follyfoot as i seem to remember, the lightning tree got watered even though it looked dead.

I seem to remember that at the end of the series it grew shoots and leaves AAAaaaaHHhh

Guy who wrote brendon chase Denys watkins pitchford, was a regular writer for shooting times under the pen name of BB .He was a keen shot and angler, loads of other books by this author, worth a read.

I probably read Brendan Chase several times and know my 11 year old daughter has just finished and is reading Manka the sky gypsy. Anyone ever read that? Also by BB.

A must for anyone with an interest in wild fowling.
