Longnet top line

My long net top line is in need of repair, its nearly fraid right through any ideals how to rejoin it.

If its braided nylon, try threading one end inside the other, then stitch to hold in place. Works great and the outer sleeving braid pulls tight on the inner bit when tension applied.

Hope that helps.

I'm assuming this is braid. Ok cut out the frayed piece. Get a needle with a large eye, and lay the two ends so they overlap by about 6" or 15cm to the younger generation. Thread 2" or so of one end into the other braid and do the same with the other end. It doesn't really matter how much braid you pull into the other piece as it's just so it won't catch on the net. Once you have both ends buried, then sew the two lines together using fine nylon string or carpet thread and you should have a repair that is strong and that runs through your net. "Tip" if you haven't got a suitable needle a loop of brass snare wire does. :thumbs-up:
