Rabbithunter 456
I know this picture looks like a roe deer, it is blurry, and was took on a digital zoom through the binoculars. But i had to stop and watch this beast for a good 20 mins before he buggered off. Now to me, it does look like a roe buck, but it was a monster in body size. So experts opinion's please
DIGZY 4
i am no expert but that looks really like a roe buck
Rabbithunter 456
thats what i think, and the picture there is the best view i got of him. It's just his body mass seemed quite large for a roe round this area. Never mind, am off out in the morning to have a look for him along with my mate and his .243 as the deer are causing quite a bit of crop damage.

J Darcy 5,871
Roe yes.......buck? well, we can only guess. If your had got a shot of the rear we could tell with ease. The thinness of the neck suggests doe....but frankly we will never know.....it could be a "last years" buck.....who's to say............JD

Rabbithunter 456
i thought it was a roe, as there isnt any other species round there. It's just looking from the roadside, he seemed to be standing quite large..... perhaps he's been eating well this "summer"
