kurgan 5 Posted August 19, 2008 Report Share Posted August 19, 2008 First of all a big thank you to all the people that run this site its kept me going for the past 10 weeks while i've been in hospital with a below knee amputation im curently in Headly court been here for the past 3 weeks and out on Friday thank god .To get to my point i've been in the army for 14 years and this place was a big eye opener there are guys with injuries you will never read about in the papers legs, arms, scars ,chunks of flesh missing ,blind and brain damaged you get the idea if you could all have a quick look on this site and donate even a pound it would mean a lot ,im the same as everyone else skint too many kids but my eyes have been opened big time ,listening to some poor sod screaming through the night because half his brain is still in Afgan will stick in my mind forever so if you could all just have a quick nose through http://www.helpforheroes.org.uk on a lighter note are there any one legged hunters out there that can talk my wife in to letting me out this weekend thta would be great Quote Link to post Share on other sites
