Update on my springer.

If any of you recall I was thinking of getting a JSR scope, well I had one and the elevation wouldn't adjust so sent it back and they sent me a replacement straight away and the same thing the elevation wouldn't adjust. Got my money back and then went down to Sporting Supplies in Bloxwich they sorted me out with a Hawke Airmax 3-9x50 Px Adj with Map 6 recticule. Zeroed it in and I really like it the quality is good and the optics are clearer. If this rain ever lets up for 5 mins I'll go out and try it.

 

Also thought I would do a bit of camo, it one of them gun socks cut and taped on not the most pro job in the job but it does the job.

I've had a JSR scope in the past and had to put a "shim" under the rear mount because it would'nt adjust but after that and a zeroing session it was spot on, anyway at least you got sorted...good luck

It's almost the same scope as what i bought mate, and there cracking scopes for the price.

exactly the same as my scope and the only tiny niggle that i have is that it shoult have an illuminated reticle then it would be just perfect. have you tried out the hawke balistics package for it

Yeah it's an SMK XS19, I live in Barlaston but my old man lives in Stafford so we headed over to sporting supplies because we heard they are good. Illuminated reticule would be good. haven't tried that BRC software yet will do tho.

It's been chrono'd and is 10.4 I'm going to leave it at that seeing as I am saving for a S410.
