shepp 2,285
I hear a lot of blokes work has slowed down or not much up for priceing at the moment. On the house front, i don't often see sold signs outside houses and if a house is advertised for 280,000 then people are offering 250,000.
Guest JohnGalway
Was in the local supply centre Thursday. No one in the shop bit, no one up the yard so headed for the warehouse bit. Four lads, one wearing out a chair with a bored expression, one blowing smoke rings in his face and two spectators. Oh yes, business is booming for them Our work is going along OK though, just need to get good weather is all.

speedlamper 0
where i live saw the highest price increases in the uk for the past 5 years, even beating london, had mine on the market for 8months now and its still not sold, paid 47 for it 9years ago, put it up for 135 which was the independant valuation and have since dropped it to 130, thats as low as im going unless someone brings me 125 cash in a suitcase, been 5 for sale signs on my street for the past 6months, before that they were snapped up within a month, its about time laws were brought in define how much credit people are entitled to based on there financial curcumstances cos thats where its all going wrong, how people on the dole can get a credit card is beyond me
