plummer lurchers

the only thing you need to wonder is did they get worked? if they didnt then i'd forget about them and look at real working line dogs

 

Im not going to get into an arguement if it degenerates i wont reply but I have 1 of the new lines which contain 50% Plummer lines and I have seen its parents work to an extremely High Standard shes 20 months old and Im more than pleased, she marks and hunts up is becoming a decent lamp dog she will never be an out and out hare killer but i didnt get her for that. She recently took her first red rabbit doubled up. Im happy.

Thats a fine looking dog, powerfull back end and alert with it.

If your happy with the dog and her standard of work thats all that matters, nice looking bitch... :)

now i may be wrong here but as a lad i read a lot of his books mainly as at the time it was only his and col walsh ones around.but i am sure there was a accidental mating between lurcher and terrier but only one pup survived.can any one find out.i sold my plummer books about 15 yrs ago.

nice dog merlin, glad to hear the parents worked

 

i reckon to be true to ourselves we should try and stick with those that are alike us, get dogs from those that work them, to keep the true working dogs going and as a whole try and breed better dogs for it.

 

i would like to see that over here, there are ppl over here who are working towards it
