Rolfe 2
Been quiet here compared to other years Bry........picking up a bit now though. Doing maybe 3-4 a day average. Couple of years back was treating 10+ a day at the height of the season. Regards Rolfe. Quote Link to post
comanche 3,295
The Jaspers have kicked off big time over the last couple of weeks here in Sussex.Doing more per day than I was last year at this time . Only darkness stops play! Hopefully It'll all be happening for you chaps and chapessess a bit further North soon . .Those big German-thingies are jolly spitefull too this year,Lots more nests in shrubs than usual. Does'nt help if you have a customer of the overly helpfull sort. She decided to save money by beating the nest in her cherry-tree to death with a broom. She was stung.Lots. Next day she called me but not before she'd attacked the nest again just to check that her initial beating had'nt miraculously frightened the inhabitants away!. Result, I had to feign proffesional indifference when faced with three-quarters of a nest bristling with angry Jaspers all in death or glory mode. Have a profitable summer Edited July 29, 2008 by comanche Quote Link to post
