found these on the beach!!!

went for a walk yesterday on walney beach.

 

lovely day.........but, there was 23 of these stranded on the high water mark ???

 

this was the best one at approx 26 inches nose to tail......the gulls had been at most of the others.

 

has anyone ever come across this before????

noy sure why they are there, but id presume they,ve beeen knocked on the head, there a pain in the arse when your out fishing, there are hundreds of them around the area, do you walk there often sean? i live right on the beach :victory:

lol......no first time ive been years.

 

used to go every week a few years ago.......i live round the corner in grange.

 

couldn't beleive how quiet it was on sunday..........it was absoloutley packed out at roanhead, thats why we ended up at biggar!!
