I dont think calling someone names is going to help any

there's probably lots of youngsters out there with new ferrets, but no one to show them the ropes, but like the rest of us, are itching to get back out and catch rabbits,

you only learn from either being shown or asking questions, so maybe he'll take note on the replies, and keep the kitts at home for a few more weeks, until theres and "R" in the month, by which time, he'll have read alot more topics on here concerning ferreting,

if its ferret food he needs, get an air rifle and pop a few off

10 week old ferrets would still be in the run getting the sun on there backs for me ,They would hardly be able to work a bury never mind bolt a rabbit out a dead end each to there own though

Way to young mate not suprised ya didnt get many rabbits there still learning how to play now not work.

there are certainly some idiots on these forums now unbeleivable some of the posts

your ferrets are babies give them time to mature and they will be ready to start come the start of the season

taking ten week old kits out to rabbit is like asking a two month baby to walk ,way to young mate be patient and wait a few months will be worth the wait ,let them be babys plenty of years in them if you dont rush in to it

Scent is right, just looked and the lad is 16...............BUT

Lad, this is some friendly advice............dont crack on like you know it all when you dont.

There is no shame in saying "I am not sure, what do you lads think?"...........be simple, no one will think any worse of you and in fact I suspect folk will bend over backwards to help you.

 

Leave them at home for a while lad and see what happens come September huh!
