dogs-n-natives 1,182
Near to some decent setts there are these crags where the badgers put mounds of bedding to dry out, I thought it was quite clever of them, and havent seen it done in other areas. Anyone else seen this? Quote Link to post
bagforthebadgers 0
Yeah, I've seen stuff like that done in some woods near mine, quite clever of them isn't it! I wouldn't have thought they would do it but they must. Quote Link to post

Simoman 110
Those southern badgers are very clever wilfred Ermmm, I'm sure the badgers wouldn't be testing for moisture levels and carrying it back when dry, surely this is just turned out bedding?????? Quote Link to post
Guest WILF
Now, stop me if this is crazy, but it wouldnt have anything to do with debris gathering on the windless side of that rock would it? Quote Link to post

No no its not near the holes and that amount of 'debris' wouldn't come from the bits on the crag, its been put there by something. and its all out of the wind aswell. I'm 99.9% sure its some form of animalk and the nearest holes to the bedding stuff are two badger sets. Quote Link to post
