Rhodey 96
I'm starting new job on monday so finally got some money coming in. Thought I would build a new court as the set up I've got now is alright but needs improvement. Here's the design for it will keep you updated in a few weeks with the progress. Quote Link to post
Kay 3,709
Why not make it a 6 footer it will be easier to get in to keep it clean Quote Link to post
Rhodey 96
I was thinking of making it 6 foot, should do really seeing as I'm 6'3" tall. Quote Link to post

Rhodey 96
I have noticed they are quite good at bouncing my two jump of anything don't seem to feel pain when they land in a heap. Quote Link to post

sue 1
my sheds are 7ft high ,its alot easier to clean them out when you can stand upright plus you can put several different levels for the ferrets to run up and down on Quote Link to post
The one 8,585
Theres a bloke up the road makes kennels i fancy one with one inch mesh for the ferrets ,but as has been said i'd like it 6 foot plus so you dont need to bend or crawl about when your cleaning them out .But other than that your plans look good Quote Link to post
Neal 1,929
My dog-run is about 5' at the back and 5'6" at the front and I've cracked my head a few times on the way in or out even though I'm fairly short myself. Quote Link to post
ferreterni 29
Is this court just going to be set onto concrete? or have a wooden base? want to make one myself but onto concrete for hosing out, not sure if its correct way of doing it though. Good design, height definately an advantage for it though. Quote Link to post
sue 1
this is one of mine ,the shed has a wooden floor but the run is on slabs so when its hosed out the water runs away Quote Link to post
Rhodey 96
Yeah it's being put on slabs. Quote Link to post
john hubery 9
Rhodey your much better off with the extra hight, over the years I have made a lot of ferret courts and kennels, some people want low set ups so they can't be seen over garden fences and wall but if you can it makes life a lot easyer if you can stand up in them Quote Link to post
Julia 0
Arrrrghh..... I'm so jealous...! I don't surpose I can convince any of you to fly to Denmark and build my one or your courts? Quote Link to post
