BIG BULL X 0 Posted July 15, 2008 Report Share Posted July 15, 2008 A GUY I NO QUITE WELL NEXT TO WORK WAS TELLING ME ABOUT A BITCH HE HAD WAS GETTING PUT TO SLEEP BECAUSE OF AN INJURY BUT CLAIMED SHER WAS FROM GOOD BREEDING AND WAS A GOOD RACER SO SINCE THER RECIENT LOSS OF MY BITCH I TOOK HER ON BECAUSE SHE WAS GOING TO GET PUT DOWN FOR SPRAINING HER HOCK WHILST RACING SO I DECIDED TO TAKE HER ON AND GIVE HER A TRY IN THE FIELD ONCE SHE HAS RESTED UP A WEEK OR TWO SHE CAN WALK AND TROT AT THE MINUTE BUT LIMPS WHEN RUNNING HERES WHAT GREYHOUND DATA SAID HOW WOULD YOU RATE HERhttp://www.greyhound-data.com/d?d=DATONA+DAZZLE&sex=&color=&birthyear=&birthland= CHEERS PAUL Quote Link to post

BIG BULL X 0 Posted July 15, 2008 Author Report Share Posted July 15, 2008 just had her for a walk with my other grey, it was approx 5 miles on lead and she was totally fine so hopefully she just needed to walk it off but im still going to rest her for a couple of days then see what she is like running, only problem with her is she hates my 2 pups and was pulling like hell to get to them. Terrier man 38 Posted July 15, 2008 Report Share Posted July 15, 2008 I doubt if she is off the track with her hock which is a very sensitive point of a greyhound ....Dont know if it will come right as i dont know the extente of the damage done ...... hope she will run well when rested in the feild for ya paul lad.... slip 1 Posted July 17, 2008 Report Share Posted July 17, 2008 to sound negative or get up your nose but if she is no good for the track(on soft sand)i dought she will b any use on uneven ground thats been churned up by cattle the hock is very sensitive part of the dog if the dog was any good it would b put to pup or brought to a vet for an opinion if it will race again then again ya could be lucky Quote Link to post
