Little Butch 16
As has been said, It's only Illegal if you get caught Butch Quote Link to post
droid 11
Thats why I said,we all interpret laws differently, not the CPS but a personal interpretation, and I did add the kicker that getting caught would be the downer Prostitution is illegal, have you seen how many high-class hookers operate around westminster?Lawmakers themselves are hypocritically flexible when it suits them, just because they sae something is so doesnt mean its something we should always adhere to 100%,theres sometimes a degree of latitude Any free thinking farmer shouldnt really have a problem. Absolutely agree. Quote Link to post

Waz 4,293
Helped 2 different farmers over the last few days with problem as discussed above, all above board in the country im in, does the british government really hate the farmers so much that they let this madness go on, Ive heard them saying its too expensive to carry out culls, well the cost to farmers and government for the last few days has been ZERO, no other species has been in danger unlike gassing, no non target species has become poisoned etc etc. Only down side is my arms are sore and ive got a raging thirst Quote Link to post
Geoff.C 0
Also on Countryfile, they said that the Welsh Assembly had given the go-ahead for a pilot cull in Wales. I don't think they were specific where abouts this would happen. If the Welsh results show an improvement in bovine tb, then the shower in Westminster have to take notice of this. During an interview, Hilary Benn who is in charge at Defra, sort of said he is going to make his findings known on Monday. Then again, politicians can not be relied on to be truthful can they? I have heard that when a scientific study group is set up, the politicians tell them what the findings should be! Quote Link to post
Night Hunter 109
Lets face it farmers have been culling badgers for years ban or no ban, there not going to start or stop as its already happening. Have they......... :headshot:: :secret: Quote Link to post
ChrisJones 7,975
I doubt most farmers have time to piss about lamping. Gassing is my bet. They'd never clear a gas for culling badgers. They'd never be able to sell such a method, to parliament. Trap and shoot is the way it'll go, if it ever goes official. Also on Countryfile, they said that the Welsh Assembly had given the go-ahead for a pilot cull in Wales. I don't think they were specific where abouts this would happen. Remember the independent inquiry into foxhunting? The one they spent millions on? The one that said there was f**k all wrong with it? The one they completely ignored? Lobbyists will decide the outcome. The animal rights lobbyists work harder, are better funded, and in a better decision to call the shots. Unless you can convince the average Sun and Mirror reader, that farmers are good and badgers are bad, there will not be any solution to this. I'm moving this thread to the pest control forum. Guest little_lloyd
Its beacuse those in the houses of parliment and those know it all doo goooding public dont see the animal beacause of its nocturnal behavoir,, They pressume theres only one or two living in those holes in the ground,, when theres is a fair number living and causing grief in our countryside,, Ground nesting birds will have thier nests done over in seconds due to mr Brock,, Cows will have TB spread around by Brock,, Honey bees are also in decline due to badgers rampaging the hives,,, Now you can see why any farmer/gamekeeper or genuine country person understands the need for controll of these animals,, Why are they any different to Foxes,, Rabbits,, Squirrels etc WHY Cage trapping would be the sillest option to choose for controll as hundreds and hundreds of cages where put out of action in the last cull,, I would say they would be lamped then shot with a rifle,, But i think the easiest option would be to give us farmers and gamekeepers the option to controll them by rifle,, cage,, Dogs ,, digging etc. But thats all a pipe dream im afraid,, So its out with the lamps to go rabbiting Quote Link to post
