the best digging dog i have ever owned was as quiet as a church mouse was safe with ferrets would let dogs bully him and steal his food he would sleep outside rather than in his kennel if one of the other dogs decided that they didnt want him in there ... BUT when he whent to ground there was a whole different story ;) ................

What do you mean by soft?Has it seen anything, end of dig?ive got a bitch here who i thought i might have to let go till she seen her first fox what a transformation, she still just young so she only got a couple of digs back end of the season but all going well this season she will show her worth.

Ive got a keeper friend who has a russell bitch who he digs regularly and that bitch will have nothing to do with cats.

jesus you would need the patience of a saint with them...

But was just out for a walk just now and she started trailing a fox, must have been recent cause she got a bit mental. Anyway she started quartering the field and kicked up a cat. She didnt look twice at it just kept her head down on the scent.

So thanks for the advice lads. Its good to know there are some terriers that have different ways with cats and what not. But when i saw the cat run her off i thought it was bad.

-and no she hasnt seen much just been in a couple scuffles above ground -to big now for anything else.

-best

kev
